Spay and Neuter Programs Are the Only Proven Method for Preventing Pet Overpopulation!
The goal of First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) is to end the unnecessary euthanization of dogs and cats by making free and low-cost spay and neuter programs readily available to our community. Our first program, SpayJax, was created by our founder and Executive Director, Rick DuCharme in 2001 as a response to Jacksonville's call for a city-funded spay/neuter program. Spayjax was such a success that soon after SpayNassau and two other low-cost programs were implemented. Most recently, our animal hospital have enacted the Trap-Neuter-Return program which offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for feral and stray cats. Call us today at (904) 306-7391

We have seen a 31% overall reduction in pet intake and, more specifically, a 44% drop in puppy and 52% drop in kitten intakes. Before the advent of our programs, euthanasias were increasing by approximately 10% per year. Find out how you can help!
